Following the humbling success of our 2015 camp, we’re now well under way organising the next!

a1gregtroppowide_20140320185923550369-620x349Joining us this year will be Adrian Welke of Troppo Architects (2014 RAIA Gold Medallist, Perth). Also on board are David Travalia (Hobart) and Drew Heath (Sydney).

Interested are Richard LeplastrierPeter Stutchbury, Kerry and Lindsay Clare, Lawrence Nield and Lindsay Johnston  – their participation will have to be confirmed closer to the camp dates due to the vastness of their commitments. More guest appearances TBA.

ArchiCamp 2016 will again be a grassroots gathering of architecture students, graduates, professionals, artists and craftsmen, their friends and families, with camping, design workshops, tours, talks, discussions and entertainment. Each participant does as much or as little as they please. First and foremost, ArchiCamp is about the enjoyment of sharing ideas with others and building connections and professional culture nationally and internationally.

All our guests generously support and invest their time and energy in ArchiCamp. ArchiCamp has no sponsors, receives no funding, and has no budget beyond the sum total of participants’ contributions towards communal meals.

ArchiCamp 2016 will take place 30 September – 3 October. The location will likely be within easy driving distance from Sydney and/or Newcastle NSW. Through our design work, we will again aim to directly benefit the host community. More about the format.

More details will be released over the coming months. Like & follow ArchiCamp on Facebook for updates.
