How to connect & stay up-to-date?

How do I get there?

  • Address and driving directions will be emailed to confirmed participants.
  • If you haven’t received the address/driving directions, contact ArchiCamp organiser!
  • There is no public transport to the campsite, the closest train station is in Maitland.
  • Feel free to post on FB event page if you require or wish to offer pickup/dropoff or carpool.

What do I bring?

  • IMPORTANT!! Bring bags or boxes to COLLECT & TAKE AWAY ALL YOUR RUBBISH after ArchiCamp – no rubbish bins are provided! No leaving rubbish around. I can’t stress this enough. :)
  • Sketchbook, pens/pencils, if you like also folding desk and/or laptop
  • Tent, mat, sleeping bag, bedding
  • Clothes for any kind of weather – warm or cold, wet or dry
  • Plate, bowl, mug/cup/glass, cutlery
  • Personal hygiene stuff, towels, toilet paper, camp shower
  • Food (we only provide breakfasts and dinners)
  • Alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks for yourself, esky, ice
  • Torch, any medications, first aid kit
  • Musical instrument if you play
  • Anything else you may need

What’s the campsite like?

  • There are no rubbish bins provided.
  • We’re camping on a private property, entry is strictly at your own risk.
  • We will set up camp near existing homestead and sheds.
  • Portable toilets (and one flushing toilet for ladies only).
  • Outdoor camp showers (BYO camp shower if you can).
  • Basic cooking facilities and covered gathering areas available.
  • We will build extra amenities to increase capacity during AC.

What if I’m bringing children?

  • They must be under your supervision at all times – you assume sole and full responsibility!
  • Children under 11 are exempt from registration fee, for children 11yo and older you must pay full fee.

What food/drinks are provided?

  • ArchiCamp is a BYO event for all beverages.
  • Communal food will be served at breakfast and dinner, with tea/coffee.
  • Tank water will be available at all times (drink at your own risk).
  • Due to the low-budget nature of ArchiCamp, we can’t cater for special dietary requirements, however we will endeavour to prepare meals that are vegetarian and GF friendly.

Any general rules?

  • Collect and take all your rubbish with you (bring rubbish bags or boxes). No leaving rubbish around.
  • Do not enter homestead or any other structures without express permission.
  • Dogs and other animals are not permitted at ArchiCamp.
  • Ask everyone around before playing music from car or portable audio.
  • Minimise noise at night especially around areas where children are sleeping.
  • Only use designated toilets/toilet areas, particularly guys, particularly at night :)
  • Be sure you leave your camp site in the same or better order than you found it in.

How about alcohol, smoking, drugs?

  • ArchiCamp is a child friendly event; offensive behaviour, excessive alcohol consumption, or illegal drug use is strictly prohibited at ArchiCamp, and offenders will be required to leave ArchiCamp immediately.
  • Smoking is okay away from the crowd. Do not litter with cigarette butts.

Terms & Conditions

All ArchiCamp participants (participants) agree to the following terms & conditions:

  1. ArchiCamp is a gathering of friends, it is not an official event, nor does it have any official organiser or any legal form or entity. ArchiCamp is a representation of all its participants, and all its participants are equally responsible for and equally contribute to ArchiCamp’s progression and success. No guarantees are expressed or implied in relation to ArchiCamp.
  2. Participation in ArchiCamp is without exception at own risk of each participant, and each participant bears full and sole responsibility for any injury or harm to self and/or injury or harm he/she causes to others during ArchiCamp.
  3. Where participant enters private premises during ArchiCamp, he/she does so at his/her own risk, and bears full and sole responsibility for any injury or harm to self and/or injury or harm he/she causes to others.
  4. Each child participant (17 year old or younger) must be accompanied by responsible adult.
  5. ArchiCamp is a child friendly event; offensive behaviour, excessive alcohol consumption, or illegal drug use is strictly prohibited at ArchiCamp, and offenders will be required to leave ArchiCamp immediately.
  6. Each participant pays voluntary contribution of $48 towards communal meals (3 breakfasts and 3 dinners) and logistical costs.
  7. Any contribution money left over will be donated to charity after the event.
  8. The contribution is non-refundable; registration may not be transferred.
  9. Personal information collected through this form will be used solely for the purpose of ArchiCamp registration, and not disclosed to third party.
